Dynamics of a changing planet

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard University Center for the Environment, hosted by Eli Tziperman and Daniel Schrag. My research on climate change ranges from process-level questions (what mechanisms drive ocean heat uptake?) to big-picture questions (does net zero halt warming?). My interest in understanding this broader story is closely intertwined with my outreach work through Climate Up Close.

I earned my PhD in Earth and Planetary Science at UC Berkeley, working with David Romps on the atmospheric physics of nuclear winter and the origins of climate change. Before that, I researched geophysical fluid dynamics at Princeton with Stephen Griffies and Nadir Jeevanjee, after a degree in mathematical physics from Brown University.
